If you would like to become a member of the 325th Checkertails VFG in the Main Arenas (not FSO) just follow these simple steps.

1.  Submit a Membership Application by clicking the link to the left

2.  Find one of the members of the 325th in one of the Main Arenas and fly with them for a while

3.  Behave like an adult and prove that you will be someone that will carry on the tradition of a fine squad dedicated to preserving the good name of one of WWII's finest fighter groups.

Your application will be reviewed by the C.O. and whoever he seeks counsel from, and an e-mail will be sent to you or someone will get in touch with you by another means with notification of acceptance or denial of squad membership.

The following are general guidelines for joining the squad:

1.  Must conduct yourself in a manner that will not tarnish the reputation of the squad.  Arguing, foul language, or disrespect to others either in game or via the Aces High II bbs will not be tolerated.

2.  Must be over 21 years of age

3.  Must be willing to fly with squadmates and help them out whenever possible

4.  Should be able to communicate via a microphone, if you do not have one or cannot afford one, let someone know and they may be able to help you out

Waivers for any of the above guidelines are at the discretion of the 325th Checkertails VFG Commanding Officer.  The Commanding Officer reserves the right to accept, deny, and eject any member that he feels is deserving.

We appreciate your interest in becoming a member of the 325th Checkertails VFG and wish you the best of luck in your application process.

If you would like to participate in FSO's with the 325th Checkertails VFG, simply show up in the Special Events Arena no later than 10:40 p.m. Eastern Time and ask for an invitation to join.  The earlier you get there, the better due to the fact that you must request and receive an invite and then log out and back for the membership to be valid.  As always, there is a better chance of getting an invitation if someone in the squad already knows you.  There are times when the 325th may be close to or above their allocated number of pilots and you may be refused for that frame.  If this happens, simply let somebody know well ahead of time that you plan on joining us for the next frame and we will try to adjust our attendance numbers accordingly.
